Product Photographer 

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Product Photographer. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of our products for use on our online store and promotional materials. No prior photography experience is required - we are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for vintage clothing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Photographing Products: Use provided equipment to photograph products, ensuring images accurately represent the product's condition, features, and unique characteristics.

  2. Maintaining Consistency: Follow established guidelines for product photography, including lighting, background, and composition, to ensure a consistent and cohesive look across all product images.

  3. Editing Images: Utilize basic photo editing tools to enhance images, adjust lighting, color balance, and cropping as needed to showcase products in the best possible way.

  4. Uploading Products to Website : Keep track of product images, organizing them in a systematic manner for easy retrieval and use in online listings and marketing materials.

  5. Organising and Managing Stock: After products are photographed and uploaded to the website they are then priced and displayed in-store. 

 

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Tech-savvy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Passion for vintage clothing and fashion history.

Normal working days will be Monday to Friday.  25-30 hours per week over 5 days.

Shop Assistant (Saturday's Only)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Store Assistant. As a vital member of our team, you will assist in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the unique atmosphere of our store. If you have a love for vintage fashion and enjoy engaging with customers, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed. Offer styling advice and guidance to customers interested.

  2. Sales: Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for. Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and effectively communicate them to customers.

  3. Visual Merchandising: Assist in maintaining the visual presentation of the store, including arranging clothing displays and ensuring merchandise is neatly organised. Help with restocking merchandise on the sales floor as needed.

  4. Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is kept clean and organised throughout the day. Assist with opening and closing duties, including tidying up the store and preparing it for the next business day.

  5. Passion for Vintage Clothing: Possess a genuine passion for vintage fashion and a keen eye for unique pieces. Stay up-to-date with current trends in vintage clothing and share knowledge with customers when appropriate.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience preferred, with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays consistently.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Passion for vintage clothing and fashion history.

Normal working days will be Saturday 11-5.
