Editors Notes
Carhartt tan duck canvas chore-style jacket with a contrasting brown corduroy collar, full button front, and four utility patch pockets (two chest, two lower). Features rivet reinforcement at pocket corners, adjustable snap cuffs, and a sewn Carhartt square logo patch on the right chest pocket. Red/yellow "VT" embroidered chest patch adds a collegiate/workwear crossover look. Tag shows size M and Made in Mexico.
Carhartt has been outfitting workers since 1889 and is best known for hardwearing duck canvas pieces built for jobsite abuse. Chore coats and work jackets like this became staples thanks to their riveted pockets, sturdy seams, and practical storage. In the late 20th century, Carhartt’s rugged silhouettes crossed into skate, hip-hop, and streetwear scenes where the boxy fit and broken-in fade became style signatures. Today, vintage Carhartt is prized for its authentic wear, warm earthy tones, and that unmistakable corduroy-collar workwear look. The added "VT" embroidery gives it a classic team/department-issued feel that’s especially collectible in modern workwear rotations.
